And in any case doesn't change the fact that for $600 MSRP, more in the real world right now, I'd expect Nikon's 50 1.8 to look like this, since it's only a 50 1.8, literally the cheapest lens to produce on the planet, they have to redeem the price with outright build quality pornography.
