>>2906111I usually use single when shooting racing anyway, so at least I don't have to worry about that. Figuring out the IS and AF modes and stuff is going to be the hardest part, especially because the client specifically wants those 400mm head-on apex-clipping kinds of shots, and nailing focus is gonna be critical. I also usually shoot manual exposure for this stuff, simply because AE fucks up more often than not when panning and the like.
Also just the basics of processing Canon files to a good look, although it's not a huge deal since the editor says they're fine with taking unedited images and doing it themselves. (He basically said they're happy to do it, but I can edit them myself if I have a personal "look" I want to show off.)
Pic related is an old one of mine and the kind of thing it sounds like they're looking for, including the processing style. (Judging by other stuff on their site.) Hopefully I can do it with the Canon and Fuji like I could with my D3 and D300 back in the day.
