Landscapes have to really be interesting like pic related to grab my interest. Otherwise they're pretty boring without a subject. As far as the emotion goes, that's just the way I usually decide what i like and what I don't. Although there's a time and place for pure aesthetic. For example. Pic related is great because it was taken from indoors on a rainy day. Cars are parked suggesting everyone is home in their warm snug houses enjoy a cup of tea. It's something you don't see but feel. The power lines add to the aesthetic though. To the "feel" too i guess. Every body inside is probably either watching TV or on the computer. idk, I'm no good so take my opinion for a grain of salt, if anything take it as a new perspective to look at pics.
