>>2861964Well it's not really all that cheap, if you want to buy new. That's more expensive than the Sony 28mm f/2, for example. And yes, Nikon still makes a few AI-s lenses.
It's cheap used because it's a decades old design and there's a whole bunch of them floating around and most people don't really want a crusty old lens with no autofocus. There are plenty of excellent lenses that can be had for much less than this lens goes for, used prices are usually more about demand and brand recognition than actual quality.
