>>2889307I generally pick something to use as a backdrop and then lay the watch directly on top of it. If you want to stand it up then I guess you could gaffer tape it to something or use some blu-tack type of stuff.
Make sure you have some good microfiber cloths and a dust blower and clean everything really well, there will be lots of pain in the ass dust and fingerprint smudges and you would much rather fix it before you shoot than have to photoshop it out later.
