The 75-300 is a good lens but will be very soft at the 300mm end unless you use smaller apertures (you wil need a tripod for that) or edit your RAW file with expertise (pic related). My suggestion? Replace the 18-55 with a EF 1.8 50mm or the EF-S 24mm. Keep the 75-300, just develop a steady hand and don't mind the not so sharp pictures since the reach of the lens is what truly matters.
