3D pop is hard to define because it's probably a combination of factors. It is futile to try and isolate it. It is simply SOVL.
Pic rel shows you do not need shallow DOF to get 3D Pop.
>>4418165Indeed, the Japanese already figured this out. Pentax 67 + 105/2.4 or the digital equivalent (which actually has nicer bokeh) GFX+the Mitakon is an easy way to get there.
