> Before responding ask yourself if you shoot portraits.Yes, that's the main sort of photography I do, although I'll grant you that I mainly shoot them with my DSLR rather than one of my EVF bodies (and even more rarely with a manual-focus lens on one of my EVF bodies). But the times I have done so, I haven't found it to be particularly difficult to nail focus--about on par with manual focus on an old manual-focus film camera, really. Pic related.
