They suck in their guts, they adopt a weird stance, they become incapable of smiling or they refuse to smile because they think it looks weird. They generally act extremely weird. I can tell you've never done ANY street photography if you think approaching them gives you natural photos. Quite the opposite. Then it's street portraits like
