a friend of mine has the f2
If I stop down to I get very nice sharpness pretty much across the frame.
thats not to say that the f2 is not sharp but it is smaller and has weather sealing.
If the f2 had been out when I got my f1.4 i would have gotten that instead. (price + weather sealing ) would make the deal for me.
So really just consider what you want out of the lens.
