>>3552386Nope, the sensor is always active if you shoot with its ovf, since x-pro2 is a mirrorless camera and mirrorless focuses with on sensor focus detection unlike dslr which have a seperate dedicated focusing sensor. But it does save some power since the ovf has much less power consumption than evf or the rear lcd.
