>>2575802why is the dude in the back the only one in focus?
>>2575803this is usable, could've made shutter a little quicker. hand strumming is tasteful for the most part but that's a little much imo
>>2575804he literally isn't in focus at all man
>>2575805i almost like this one but focus once again. his hand is also out of focus and i dunno how i feel about that with a violin
>>2575806I dig this one, you could've bumped your ISO a LOT though, you will never have to shoot ISO 160 at a concert and you never should.
>>2575807nothing in focus again
>>2575811this isn't OP and i feel like i've seen this before. it's usable but try to stray far away from mic eating with eyes closed. the shot has been done 100000 times. it's not a BAD shot just done way too often.
OP, you need to do this more often. go to bars and take photos for random bands, bands you like too. you can't keep playing the camera sneaking game. there's a lot of work that goes into bigger shows/venues and you bringing your camera in isn't going to benefit anyone but yourself. at least get enough shit together to shoot for a local publication.
next, you need to find the your niche with settings. you're shooting very low ISO with slow shutters. concert photos aren't meant to be this clean while maintaining motion blur. you have a good ass camera and you should be utilizing it. I usually shoot 1/150 or 1/320 if the bands jumps around. I shoot a lot of punk so that's usually the deal
just do some research now. if this is what you want to do with your photography, start getting serious immediately. live photography is fun as shit, I usually shoot a show a week and I'll be shooting my first major festival this weekend. I've been doing it for about a year and you can really advance quickly if your shit is good and you talk to the right people.
