Somehow they believe a large format lens shooting at 5.6 is brighter than an APS-C lens at 5.6. Not on a pixel by pixel basis. Having a larger sensor does not magically gather more light either. If you put a APS-C camera on a bellows and stitch to cover the entire image circle of a large format lens, per pixel quality, sensitivity, and dynamic range do not magically change, however you get more resolution.
