>>4137919>>4138140>>4140756I feel like there can be a happy median here. While my subject is still people a lot of the time, they are usually smallish in the composition. It's interesting to show more of the overall scene and tell a story of the place they are in. I live in a bigish city and like to show it in my photography.
Sometimes I'm a little closer, sometimes people even catch me, I usually just apologize and say "sorry I just need a figure in the shot" and I'll show them. No one has ever gotten upset. Sometimes I ask to take pictures or portraits but that's rare. Just don't be a dbag.
