>>4052570i completely agree with your sentiment anon, most of the photography i see on social media or labelled ‘photography’ is over-processed and overly „„artistic.““ it legitimately makes me sick to think that people's visual view of the world is being influenced by overly contrasty, overly saturated styles. moreso that it's in demand.
my goal with photography is to capture how mundanely boring everything really is. to revere the mundane. if i had to give it a name, it'd be ‘documentary’.. but it's not what the word connotes. best of luck on your journey anon, i wish you the best pictures.
