Total photography newfag here, getting into basic astrophotography via my smartphone and a telescope. My phone has three cameras including what I understand is a 50mp standard camera and a 10mp camera with 3x optical zoom.
Given the nuisance that is trying to line up my phone with the telescope eyepiece I want to pick one camera, rig up my smartphone mount for that camera and hopefully never have to think about readjusting it BUT I genuinely don't know which camera is going to produce the best photos.
I've tried doing my own research but I can't find anyone even asking this question, which I'm guessing means the answer is obvious to anyone who knows what they're doing.
