Digital is for plebs. Fact. Film takes more care and effort, which translates to better pictures, every time. Technical quality means very little, which is the only thing digital excels at given the restraint of identical sensor vs. film size. That's just physics, but it doesn't matter if the results are boring and vapid.
Of course not bound by that restraint, bigger film formats destroy even $50k digital cameras. A shit $50 lens from the 40's on a big piece of film wrecks most anything - pic related, shot wide fucking open.
You can make an image in perfect light with perfect technique but digital photos just don't engage the viewer. They all look the same. Be it a cell phone or a D4S, they all have basically the same colors, the same look, the same tonality (shit), etc.
Deal with it you fucking plebs and quit being so fanny-flustered.
