That would be compelling to me. The 50s are all like vintage and quirky optical designs that you gotta be kind of a head to appreciate. I think it’s awesome that he’s out there hand crafting lenses. LLL is a similar project but that’s not a one man operation, and their lenses are absolutely devoted to replicating the look and feel of specific vintage glass, whereas Miyazaki-san puts his own uniqueness into each lens. Both ideas are appealing to me, so I’ll be happy to wield lenses from both of them.
