>canon 2000D body (modified, replaced IR cut with high quality, purpose-built optical glass)>a couple decent lenses ranging from 18-55mm and 75-300mm adjustable, to 400mm prime with a 3x teleconverter>remote shutter button but not a programmable aftermarket unit>currently shopping for a decent tripodit seems like the last starter gear i need is pretty self explanatory: polar alignment, tripod, programmable remote shutter, optional light pollution filter. the polar alignment is where i get kinda lost, having fallen into the rabbit hole of solar filters (thousand oaks vs. baader vs. seymour vs. cheap b&h glass).
if you have any recommendations for a beginner star tracker that can handle deep space objects at 1920mm effective focal length, i'm interested. the more compact the better, as i may likely image while camping
