>>4169257>I remember developing some 120 Ilford and the water turning red, but not sure if there are moreThanks. I wondered if it was black and white or color but this makes me feel slightly better that it may be black and white--which is how I will process it.
>>4169265>ive seen online some document/print film has a pink base>https://www.reddit.com/r/AnalogCommunity/comments/11kqp12/trying_to_identity_a_mystery_film/thanks! hmm. looks kind of similar but it was redder rather than pink.
the box it came in erroneously said it was empty (hence my cockup) but the original owner wrote as well that he used plus x and tri x.
Might it be possible that plus x or one of its technical variants (iirc there was a plus x aerial film) has a different color base?
I'm thinking of finding relatively safe times for Xtol 1+1 + Benzotriazole (that will develop most films to normal contrast) and then developing a sheet or two.
Anyone lmk if you know of a rule for Xtol akin to the "7 minutes in d76 develops anything"
