In terms of cost effectiveness, the A7R sensor is a better fit than A7Rii. So the A7R will fit the company's cost effective strategy a lot better.
Further more, let's assume the A7Rii sensor will be for sale to begin with. Sony can barely produce enough A7Rii sensors for themselves right now, once they get extra capacity, I'm pretty certain Nikon would have gotten priority on said capacity, because they can pay more for the sensors, and their high-end customers are of the type where price doesn't really matter.
Nikon will have no problem asking 5000 USD for their high-end stuff, and it's one of the reasons why they can bid higher than Pentax.
