Greetings from /out/, this question falls on a few different categories but most likely here for the technical skills.
I am wanting to record 24 hrs at a time of high res video and audio while camping. Think time lapse landscape shots with audio in real time (massive files I know). I am wanting good enough quality to play on 50" screen at home when I am working ect for a nice backdrop. I am wanting to get sunrise and sunset so was considering 2 wide angle lenses facing on a east west axis. I was thinking DIY housing with 2 cams with external hard drives and power banks with small boom mic for audio. Any suggestions or anyone who has done something similar???
So specifically if this is possible on a budget?
What cams would fit the bill (even consider some of the small VR cam units but from what i have seen the consumer model ones are pretty poor images.
Also what format for recording if you want to keep your options open in what to display it on later?
