Serious question here. I love my Canon 35 1.4 mark I. But sometimes it's too much of a hassle taking it everywhere I go with me. The new Canon 35 1.8 for an rf mount seems like a good small lens, but in my opinion the quality of the blur is just too "noisy". It's sharper, but the bg is not as smooth as with the old 1.4.

So my question is, what alternatives are out there that are smaller or more comfortable to carry around but has the same rendering. Don't mind if it's Canon Sony or whatever. Or to get that smooth rendering I have no choice but to have a big lens on me?
My last resort would probably be buying a Canon rp and using 35 1.4 with an adapter.
