I use a DSLR with primes, but it's not a replacement for a z5ii if you shoot anything that moves or adapt lenses (especially M mount), and nikons kit zooms are literally as sharp as F mounts gold ring primes.
Z mount can even adapt sony E lenses FFS. The last wedding photographer I met was using sony f1.4 GM primes and the FE 24-70 f2.8 GM II on her Z8. These old $350-400 digital blobs are just for being jewish with your money.
