>>3360489No, don't make the sky look properly exposed. Expose the sky so it's almost about to be completely white, but not 100% white. This is what the histogram looks like on this particular image. The sky is super close to being completely blown out but it isn't. If it was completely blown out, then there just wouldn't be any detail in the sky. It sounds like you're exposing so the sky looks correct, and the ground is really dark, that's wrong. The reason why is because now the dark areas in your image will be REALLY dark. All this technique is helping you do is take a photo that is as bright as possible without losing highlight detail
