I was standing around with the protesters, just checking out the scene when a short, older man approached me he was wearing a red shirt with the sleeves cut off. He asked me where I was from. I paused for a second scanning him over. The only legible print on his shirt was the word "TRUMP" in bold white print.
My first thought was 'fuck, this dudes looking for someone to scream at'. I told him I lived in a town not too far away. He stared at me and asked "DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THE SIMOLEON CONNECTION?".
I looked at him for a second before uttering "Look man, I don't really give a shit." Before walking away. I felt kind of bad, but at the same time it felt like I dodged a bullet.
