Also, you can reload them yourself. I used to do it once in a while. Usually with HP5 since it's a pretty forgiving film and I had a shitload of it in the fridge.
Also taped up a disposable, attacked it to a pole in a field, and let it sit there for a year. Once in a while I'd walk out there and take a pic with it, leaving it on the pole. The idea was to have a year-long timelapse. And I did get that but the weather wasn't very extreme to it came out kinda boring. The camera held up well.
