Apart from that I figured out that the lens housing is not removable like in other models and 9 times outa 10 You Will end up having to buy a whole lens/sensor mechanism in my opinion it's not worth posibly bricking the camera over something silly like a faulty lens cover
As far as image quality is concerned the glass is free of dust/scratches and the covers fully retract like 80% of the time and if they don't I've made it a habit to flick the Lens before shooting to make them pop back inside
