I just find having to use the whole viewfinder to frame the image for 35mm counter-intuitive to the rangefinder experience. With the 50mm I can see my subject before they walk into frame. I also have a Canon 7 which has 0.8x on the 35mm framelines and I find that easier to use, too bad it's jammed and the frameline selector is broken. Don't get me wrong my P is my favorite camera I own, this is the only gripe I have with it.
