Don't pull this "MPG per-HP" bullshit. The average battery life for a 1st model A7 sits somewhere around 300 shots. You also can't use the camera while it's plugged into a USB port.

Speaking of back focusing, I rented the 70-200 f4 over a weekend for an anime con and while it wasn't every other shot, I did experience back focusing; especially when used video.
