film is purely a journalistic medium to me now, not something to take seriously as a professional larp. film camera goes in the bag with, not instead, the digital camera because if i have original negatives it would take a state level actor a lot of time, effort, and money to fake/ai generate those convincingly, so everything on the film camera is as close to what happened as a camera can tell you. digital is for artsy fartsy and pro larping and using 10 different lenses and ttl strobes and super high shutter speeds to get pixel perfect sharpness of bicycle races and cropping to see bigfoot in the distance or whatever.
