>>3641754>poor chromatic noise suppression algorithmBut see, I have an older phone in this same line of models from Sony. The one I have now is a new phone, with upgraded tech. The older one doesn't do the coloured dots thing, so why is the new one?
I have checked other pictures taken with the XZ1 Compact online, and they don't seem to exhibit this kind of behaviour. I will defintiely try the RAW images that you and the other poster mentioned.
