>>4421774yes, it's mine. I tried my hand a bit on still life. I also think the light is too harsh. The light source (a very basic desk lamp) was very close to the subject and I fucked the exposure. As for the framing - the picture is very lightly cropped. My background (a painted canvas) wasn't big enough and bits from what was behind it were creeping in at the top.
pic related is from the same set with a different background, without any cropping and better exposed, but it doesn't feel painterly as the first one.
