>>3632057yw. make sure to consider your whole frame. even negative space is an element that should be considered. You could also get closer to the tree and make it a harsh line to divide the frame. Some of the trees in the back look more straight, so don't focus on that specific tree. Walk around, look through your viewfinder and test compositions. Make sure to include the mountain - never been there and wouldn't recognize it if you didn't write it's Mont Blanc. In regards to clouds as an additional layer, that's up to you. If the rest of the photo works, lacking the cloud(s) as an additional layer won't do any harm. Furthermore, if there are no clouds, then there is nothing you can do about it.
btw. here are my attempts:
breaking symmetry
>>3630459Although the crown of the tree is put in the center, the stem leads away from it in an s-curve ending near the golden ratio. It's not perfectly at golden ratio, but I had to make a compromise.
Using symmetry
>>3630485 but still have some elements that create layers.
>>3630728 >>3630782 frame in frame with leading lines and almost central composition. The one here was an attempt I thought that might work, but the view is lead to nothing. So that's my personal shift+del.
