If you take the limit of 3100 from the Fuji test and cap all the Tamron’s numbers at 3100... the border sharpness for the Tamron at 75mm wide open is still higher than the center sharpness of the Fuji at 55mm at 2.8. In fact all the border sharpness for the Tamron exceeds 3100 except wide open at 28mm and at 75mm. The borders of the Fuji won’t Improve much if at all on higher res body. The center will only improve noticeably where it’s close to peaking.
