Skateboarding injury in high school, then strobist, then assisting, now interests in localized conflicts.
Whats your setup?
2 Hasselblad 501cms, with an 80 and 120mm, plus a Fuji XT-2 with 2 primes for digital work and news reportage.
Do you see yourself turning this into a business or keep it as a hobby?
Trying to slowly move from full-time assisting to full-time conflict/documentary work. Hard to do so with a need for spot-news coverage at odds with a desire to shoot square/film. Also trying to move into minor motion documentary work.
I don't really mind mixing some small amounts of non-work imagery with my hard-line imagery, particularly if the images establish a baseline of my location/are aesthetically interesting enough while neutral enough not to set a tone different than my actual body of work.
