I just noticed my SMC Pentax FA 50mm f1.7 has really bad vignetting wide open and it is definitely the lens. It's only good from f2.8 up. I thought it was just the hood and thicc filter I got for free, so I left them on since it looks cool sometimes, but I took them off today and wala, there's still vignetting at f1.7. Here I am taking pictures of walls like a retard on TAv and M to see if anything changes it a little and no, nada. None of the reviews mentioned it was a shit lens. The entire reason I bought it was minor bokehwhoring and lower ISOs indoors.
Are most 50mm primes like this or should I just ignore absolutely everything said on the pentax forums?
