the colour is still too much on the second iteration. they draw attention from the white-black contrast.
highlights still at 80% Y and evening out at 93% X, saturation still lowest for blue
I think the biggest example is the no-parking sign. the colours are so desaturated that the bright white border is popping more despite being relatively dim. The windows also have more of a pop from the brick wall.
I'm going camping over the weekend, otherwise I'd tinker all the way to monday, maybe I'lll try some different shots with this profile.
