>>3482871>I have used it with the camera aperture priority at f/8 to do zone focus for street photography>Something I simply have not been able to do with any other P&SOlympus XA series my dude. The original XA is an aperture priority rangefinder that has a DOF scale, the XA2, XA3, XA4 are all zone focus cameras. These cameras are ideal for street, the shutter is quiet and people won't here the advance motor because it's manual advance!
>would likely be higher just buying a replacement camera.I really doubt it would cost over $600 to replace a ribbon cable especially when there are repair manuals for the TVS available. Even so I'd rather repair a camera I already have than throw it away like everyone else does. It gives these technicians work while also keeping the ever declining amount of film camera alive.
>Wasn't there a tab or something to grip onto though on the TVS?Not on the ii there isn't. I think you might be referring to the original TVS and even so that's for turning it on/zooming
