>>3420778>added a backlight for the hairIndeed you have sir, and a fine split-end detector it is. You might want to dial it down just a touch though, enough to get it to rim lighting instead of halo lighting. Its supposed to separate her from the background, not turn her into the 2nd Coming.
As far as looking a bit flat is concerned, you are about on the edge of 1:2 I think, which leaves little room to maneuver exposure wise. Since you have overcooked her left eye-level and up slightly, this hotness (along with the Holy Hairlight) is fucking up the result. The annoying thing you have to watch for in close quarters portraiture like you're doing is every time the model moves their head they not only change the shadows, but can also go from perfect exposure to blown out in the 4 inches difference that their turned forehead has traveled. Of course you need to get close for the soft light however, so bigger, softer lights at the start get you further away and reduces this annoyance.
Anyway, for pic attached (and the others) I would merely go for a darker exposure and dial the bat signal behind her right down, and see how it looked from there. I think you would be pleasantly surprised. (I tried a quick edit but that left eye side wasnt jamming).
That 160 is so fucking much better than the 400 as well.
