Go to the most crowded corner in your town, set up a tripod in everybody's way take a few pictures. They don't have to be good pictures, that is not the point of this exercise. Do it every day until you stop feeling ashamed of yourself. Before long you will begin to realise that no one gives a flying fuck about you.
But if you mince about trying to be sneaky someone will inevitably punch your face in.
