Thoughts on this? It is basically a TTL spot meter for large format cameras.
There's a photosensor on the end of that wand, and you can move it around your framed shot. The holder has a removable slide so you can see where you're metering directly on your image. Once you choose a spot you need to close the slide for the best reading.
My thoughts are that it is a somewhat unnecessary tool, but it would be extremely useful for macro work where even a 1 degree spot meter can be too big to use.
My one concern is that it lacks any sort of flash trigger/functionality.
