Bought this cute Konica EYE and wondered if there's any way to replace the Selenium cell? It seems to work reasonably well but it doesn't seem to pick up on really low light situations. The manual says that the shutter will be locked if there isn't enough light for a proper exposure but it doesn't do that even if there isn't *any* light present at all. I mean - it only takes film up to ISO 400 so maybe that won't even be a problem since I won't shoot in the dark anyways but I was just wondering if there maybe was a way to fix that problem.
(The light meter needle doesn't even move up to 1/30 in the viewfinder ever~)
I'll run a roll of film through it tomorrow and see how it turns out.
