Find better spots, always consider the background. Try to get closer to your subject.
Think of your wildlife shots as portraits or street shooting, go for a good head position, towards you, no bird pooper. Also try to show something interesting as well with your subject, interaction with the surroundings, eating, hunting, fucking, or just a generic profile posture.
