A 15 second exposure - technically two shots. One for the tiny bright core of Orion, which usually washes out the detail. One for the wide field shot. Canon EOS M6 mirrorless camera + EF 100-400mmL II lens (not fully extended, to keep the aperture wider at f/5). Shot with a tracking mount with no guidance.
Essentially a single shot exposure if not for that tiny element of the core. Great to be able to take a shot like this without any major stacking or guidance. The turquoise color was unexpected.
