>>3422851Look for old growth, and go out at dusk. I've only ever found 3 of them in 20 years, so can't add much more than that from personal experience. I've seen scat and found old nests, but none of that ever resulted in anything.
Expect a lot of back lit situations though, because the sun will be low and they like to sit with it behind them for obvious reasons.
