Thanks to all the anons who have helped me out with it!
I stacked 5 of those CR1220 batteries (3V each) and it works!
Hotshoe works, cable works, everything is fine
I just couldn't make it work with my Rollei 35, but I'll test it again when I have no film inside of it
I've noticed the Rollei 35 behaves weirdly with flashes in general. When I'm using a regular electronic flash (Nikon SB-22) it works fine for some shots and for others it doesn't trigger the flash. I've noticed it works if I wait a bit before advancing the film, which in theory shouldn't be related to triggering the flash or not
Does anyone have any tips for it? The Rollei has lots of quirks and stuff, this seems to be one of them
