>>4415894Thanks for the writeup anon. I went to mirrorless initially because I'm going to be moving around sites a lot and really don't think I need the bulk of a DSLR. I've read battery kind of sucks on the older Sonys but I'll only be out in the field with it for a few hours at a time. I looked at raw samples for the a6000 and both Nikons you suggested and honestly can't tell much of a difference. I'd use my phone but I hate pictures on my Pixel 8 and would be worried about fine details (i.e. pavement markings) being fuzzed out if basically every modern sensor bins and postprocesses the same. I'll see what I can get a better deal on with accessories locally.
