Since my phone takes better pictures than my Lumix G7 paired with the kit lens, and after trying to find ideas for better crop, brightness, sharpness via speedboosters or other lenses, I just aped and got an A7iii for 1600€ new.
I'm going to ape a bit more and get a Sigma 24-70 ART. I plan to use it for everything, from animal pictures to dance/music videos while taking it out with me every time I'm outside to capture things and everyday moments of life.
Please tell me it was the right move, I wanted this camera since it came out and now the A7iv is out and looks fantastic, but it's hard to justify a 1000€ price increase as an amateur.
