I recommend Minolta. Their X-700/500/300 bodies can be had dirt cheap and are very capable. They will probably need slight seal replacement, but that can be done easily. To be honest I used one without lightseals at all and had no leak issues.
The Minolta lenses are pretty good too, they had a partnership with Leica for awhile, and a few of their lenses share the same design. The 35-70mm f/3.5 is an 80s zoom that actually stands up to most modern ones.
I picked up an X-700, 50mm lens, motor drive, case, strap, and flash all for $125.
